About Me

I am a psychotherapist in the final stage of training towards a Masters in Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy at Bath Centre for Psychotherapy and Counselling (BCPC). With a wealth of experience spanning many years, I have been dedicated to helping individuals navigate life's complexities, and improve their relationships with themselves and others.

Before training to become a psychotherapist, I worked in the legal field bringing cases where civil and human rights had been breached. As a result of my own experiences of life, death and loss, I sought psychotherapy for myself. The benefits I felt from therapy, plus a keen interest of looking within, led me to train as a psychotherapist. I believe my experience of sitting in the clients' chair helps me to be a more compassionate therapist.

I spent two years working at the Swan Project in Bristol, which is a charitable organisation that offers psychotherapy and counselling to people who would like to change their relationship with alcohol and other substances. With the desire, I believe every individual has the ability to change if they are provided with the right therapeutic environment.

"The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change"

- Carl Rogers

My Passion

My passion lies in assisting individuals in gaining a deeper understanding of their inner world, and elevating our awareness of how we engage in relationships. I provide a welcoming and compassionate space where you can take time to express yourself and be heard with warmth and acceptence. I work in an integrative way, which means I draw on a range of therapeutic theories and models, including psychoanalytic, humanistic and existential perspectives. There is not a 'one size fits all' with therapy. Every person is unique and may need a different approach at different times.

I offer psychotherapy in Bath, Bristol and South Gloucestershire, and my rate is £60 for a fifty minute session. We would meet on a weekly basis.
